"Ray Conniff’s reggae phase is rarely mentioned by anyone outside of true Conniff aficionados. Conniff fans can’t figure out why the maestro abandoned his memorable melodies. Dub experts figure him for a lazy colonialist, abusing Jamaican rhythms for the sake of his white-bread harmonies. Everyone else regards it as an uninspired oddity...."

Aaaaaah, this is hilarious!
I'm loving it over here! The anticipation has been killing me, but it's been well worth the wait! Go Ray!
Love, love, loving it. Now I need to somehow download the album, so I can listen to it while driving my art van! That will be pure driving pleasure listening to this long lost album!
There are some amazing tracks here. Love the title "The Lost Dub Sessions" ~ Peace

Think I need to rerecord some of this as the album sounds a bit muddy/scratchy.
A good vinyl deep-cleaning might do the trick, so check back again for something a little easier on the ears.
Thanks for the responses!

I absolutely love this. When I was in college I bought every Ray Conniff album I could find at second hand stores and would listen to them over and over to drive my rudeboy roommate crazy. Now to "learn" Conniff did a dub album blows my mind!
Thanks for the time you spent on this. This made my week!
Thanks for the link tall j!
Fixed the last track, the vocals had somehow wandered off their moorings---- perhaps due to the gravitational force of Ray spinning in his grave.
I was always entranced by Ray Conniff's Hawaiian Album - not that far of a stretch to dub.
amazing! great job!
thanks

Thanks for all the positive feedback.
Ray Conniff was chameleon-like in his genius. He was all over the musical map -- Latin, Hawaiian, Broadway, Reggae -- musical ambassador with a strange new tongue-less language...
Watch for some similar rips shortly.
Wonderful. Wirklich wunderbar.
Thank you.
THIS IS GENIUS- the best easy listening dub yet- WICKED breaks and beats with vanilla topping- BULLNOSE
OMG I got totally sucked in... what a great job...
